About Roget's 1911 Thesaurus

This is a hypertext version of the 1911 edition of Roget's Thesaurus of English Words and Phrases. It has been adapted from an electronic version distributed by MICRA, Inc. See the original MICRA documentation for details.

Roget's Thesaurus is organized by categories of thinking. Words with related meanings are grouped together in separate entries. This electronic version of Roget's Thesaurus contains 1043 entries. There is one file for each entry.

You can find words in several ways:
